About us:
Torque Fitness is an innovative and growing manufacturer of high-end functional and performance training equipment. Torque is looking for a highly motivated individual to take on the position of Shipping and Logistics Coordinator.

 

Job Description
The Shipping & Logistics Coordinator is a key member of the Operations team within Torque Fitness. Responsible for releasing and fulfilling Sales Orders, as well as, generating and processing required documentation related to Shipping, Receiving, and material flow within the Torque Fitness Distribution Center. You will develop carrier relationships to help find the best solution to get customer’s product from beginning to end.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Allocate product, release sales orders, and print pick tickets
• Select LTL carriers and schedule shipments
• Responsible for creating shipping documents /BOL’s (Bill of Lading) for outgoing freight
• Prepare parcel (UPS, USPS, FedEx) shipments and create shipping labels for orders
• Process shipments and complete order fulfillment within inventory management system
• Inspect and Process Returned Merchandise Authorizations (RMA).
• Organize Incoming receiving and inspection. Confirm incoming shipments, packing slips and purchase orders match. Receive products into WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
• Assist with maintaining current and accurate Bin Locations for all inventory within the Distribution Center.
• Assist with Physical Inventory and Cycle Counting programs
• Assist with pulling orders when necessary
• Other duties as assigned

 

Qualification Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent experience
• 2 years customer service, shipping lead, or equivalent experience
• Strong computer/technology experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and databases
• Data Entry experience
• Proven problem-solving ability and attention to detail
• Good communication, time management, and mathematical skills
• Excellent organization skills

 

Physical Requirements

• Regularly uses arms and legs to bend, lift, reach, push, pull, and move inventory
• This position requires the ability to lift up to 100 pounds of items
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch
• The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time
• Frequent screen time

In-House Photographer and Videographer

Torque Fitness is a growing Twin Cities direct to consumer and B2B fitness brand looking to expand their team with the addition of an in-house photographer and videographer.

 

Job Description
This position will work closely with the internal marketing and product team to create professional level photography and videography content for website, social media, YouTube, print, events, digital marketing and more.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Take product photography and videography for multiple websites

• Edit photography and videography for social media, digital ads, website and more

• Shoot creative, vertical content for social media in collaboration with marketing team (Tiktok, Reels and more)

• Work closely with in-house marketing team to develop on-brand content

• Assist or lead on larger scale photo shoots, be able to collaborate with outside photographers and videographers

• Follow the visual rules set in place by the brand guidelines

• Coordinate photo and video needs; you will work directly with our team/department leads to create any needed product or lifestyle photo/video shoots

• Follow proper principles of design/photography

• Edit all content for a variety of use-cases and different formats such as social, YouTube and more

• Coordinate with the warehouse team to arrange and assist with product setup to shoot

• Come up with new and creative photo and video ideas

• Photograph and film events

• Proper use of studio lighting

• Have deliverables by or before the due date

 

Required Skills:

• Previous Experience (3+ years highly preferred) in Photo/Video
• Social media knowledge, specific to content performance
• Product photography experience required. Large scale product preferred

Torque Fitness is a growing Twin Cities direct to consumer and B2B fitness brand looking to expand their team with the addition of an assistant product manager for accessories.

 

Job Description:
The Assistant Product Manager is an important member of the Torque Fitness team. This position works across the multiple departments within the organization, primarily with sales, marketing, engineering, inventory control, and customer service as well as outside the organization with our
sourcing partners and the factories producing our products. The position is both strategic and tactical, working on business, marketing, sales, training and new product development projects. This role is critical in establishing and executing a winning strategic product offering. This person
must be a highly motivated self starter that is fueled by working with people and completed all details on a project. This position performs a variety of tasks due to the small size of the staff. The Assistant Product Manager will work with sales on developing accessory strategies for our
different sales channels, work with our sourcing partners and factories to procure and design the accessories, with inventory control on data entry, orders and pricing, with sales and marketing on product training and finally with customer service on issues and product improvements. Evaluates
product performance to help develop and update company goals and objectives. Advises sales team on any relevant product concerns. Recommends changes to current product offerings related to accessories based on market research and new trends. Aside from Torque commercial and consumer accessories, this position is also responsible for working with our direct customers on custom branding. The person in this role should be avid about functional and or CrossFit training, understands various training modalities, and is passionate about keeping up with training trends.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Product Development:

  • Establish and execute a winning product line strategy
  • Determine the core needs of the customer (for all sales channels) and how to address those needs through specifications and marketing.
  • Responsible for the creation and specification of products.
  • Assist in creating the direction of the industrial design of new products.
  • Create required user guides or other documentation.
  • Assist in setting up and monitoring durability tests for prototype, pilot and production.
  • Establish part numbers, SKU’S, and descriptions for all so they fall in line with Torque’s established conventions.
  • Coordinate with the rest of the product development group on new storage components needed.
  • Tours and approves new factories for accessory production.
  • Coordinate’s data entry of model numbers, descriptions, costs, pricing, order quantities etc.
  • Create logical packages of like accessories that are sized correctly to fit on Torque equipment and to speed the selling process.

Marketing:

  • Track and provide insight into distribution channel size, changes and competitive landscape
  • Analyze competitive products, strategies and results
  • Analyze customer data through website feedback, online forms and sales feedback.
  • Assist in developing a clear brand strategy vs. competition, and competitive action plans
  • Assist in directing the development and managing the implementation of marketing elements and web development including but not limited to: pricing, positioning, features, usage guides and product training.
  • Monitor web site to ensure all products are shown and details are all accurate.
  • Assist in tradeshow strategy and implementation.
  • Preform competitive analysis.
  • Responsible for setting warranty terms.

Service:

  • Create new product training guides for sales and service
  • Analyze customer service data and provide recommendations to product team
  • Work directly with sales and marketing teams to support sales efforts
  • Work with the service department in identifying and ordering service parts needed.

 

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience:

  • One or more years of product management or work experience in the fitness or sports industry.

Education:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, marketing or business communication is preferred. Alternately, a person with a fitness background will be considered.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required as this individual will communicate and work cooperatively across departmental lines.

Other Skills:

  • Familiar with all different types of training accessories and group training methods.
  • Must have strong knowledge of business / product planning and development.
  • Must be familiar with a variety of computer systems and mobile platforms.
  • Excellent creative and organizational skills, plus ability to think analytically.
  • A passion for exercise and training is key.
  • Graphic design skills would be a plus.
