Crush cardio boredom, build explosive muscle, and group train anywhere with the TANK M1. The same challenging TANK technology you know and love, now more portable, storable, and affordable.
You talked, we listened. We designed the TANK M1 based on your feedback and ideas. With easily removable handles and compact design, the TANK M1 was designed with garage gyms and personal trainers in mind and allows you to take your sled training to the street to train with neighbors, to the cabin for a family weight sled training session, or to the park to meet friends. Wherever you want to take your training, TANK M1 will go.
Variable resistance training:
Using the same technology you know and love from the TANK M4 and TANK MX, The TANK M1 offers three levels of resistance to make your workouts match the intensity you want... and then some. The faster you push, the harder it gets. An adjustable and frictionless magnetic brake system that increases resistance with speed creates a heart pounding-strength building workout.
Nearly silent training:
No more angry neighbors or bystanders. Unlike traditional friction sleds, the TANK M1 is a sled with wheels that has a nearly silent training experience. So go ahead, challenge yourself or your client to that early morning workout!
With it's low tow bar design, you can push and pull in both directions, making group training a breeze. Want to turn your TANK around? The TANK M1's lighter, three wheel design makes this easy.
Easy storage and more training options with the TANK M1 Wall Bracket:
Save space and increase training functionality. The TANK M1 Wall Bracket not only gets your sled up off the wall, saving you sacred training space, it also acts as an anchor point for battle rope and resistance band training.
Removable, ergonomic handle design:
The TANK M1 comes standard with removable Performance Handles for easy storage and transportation with custom molded grips on high and mid-handle positions.
Group training from beginner to pros:
From rowing, running, pushing, to pulling, the exercises you can do with a single TANK in a group setting are endless. Changing the resistance for different level athletes on the fly make weight sled group training a fun and effective workout for all.
No weight plates required*:
*Thanks to TANKs magnetic braking system, added weight is not needed to increase your workout's difficulty. Rather adding a plate or two on the included weight horn may be useful for traction and for keeping rear wheels down for some movements.

Unlike friction sleds or ‘prowlers,’ TANK is controlled by magnetic resistance — meaning athletes don’t need to change out the weight for each user. By flipping the resistance lever, you can change the intensity of your workout without adding or removing heavy weight plates. Additionally, TANK is an all-surface weight sled with wheels, meaning it will not tear up your carpet or flooring.
No, you do not. Unlike traditional sleds, all of the resistance comes with the simple flip of the lever, thanks to TANK’s innovative braking system. Weight is only added to keep the exercise sled moving straight ahead and not veering from side to side.
Yes. TANK is coated with electrostatic paint, so you can use it outdoors, under all weather conditions, without fear of damaging the equipment. In addition, this is an all-surface fitness sled, meaning it was built to be used on a range of outdoor surfaces — from grass fields to turf tracks.
TANK users include everyone from NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB teams to assisted living communities and everything in between. Because TANK trains for deceleration, HIIT, and overall conditioning while still being gentle on joints, nearly every person can benefit from training on Torque’s premier workout sled.
I own just about every piece of equipment you'd find in your run-of-the-mill CrossFit gym, plus a few other items thrown in. To date, my AirDyne/Echo bike has been the go-to for the occasional torture session...until now. I really enjoy incorporating sled work; I do not, however, enjoy getting the sled out, setting it up, and upsetting my neighbors with the noise associated with pushing/pulling/dragging the traditional sled across the common paved road. Not to mention, moving a loaded-up sled out of the way of the occasional vehicle can be a pain. Enter the Tank M1. Wow, it does just about everything you'd want it to do, and it does so much easier. I've used this sled for 12-days in a row now, trying to squeeze every ounce out of it. The only negatives I have found so far are the difficulties with turning the sled, especially when loaded; attempting to maneuver around corners or steer down your driveway can be quite cumbersome. The handles are a little wobbly and, even though I know they won't pop off while pushing, it feels like they just may from time to time. If you're pushing a heavy load and happen across some rogue acorns or debris, the wheels may slip slightly. Finally, every once in awhile, especially when dragging the sled, the front wheel slips a bit. Overall, this is a 5-Star product.
Ever since I got my sled I have a hard time staying away from it. I love incorporating it into all of my workouts and feel like I got my money's worth. I like that it's small enough to not take up a lot of room in the garage and that it's quiet enough for me to push down my driveway at 5am. My kids have started pushing it around too, which is an awesome start to their fitness journey.
After years of using traditional sleds outside my house, ignoring the dirty looks from my neighbors and the letters from my HOA, I couldn't be more excited to own this sweet chariot of pain. So far it works just as advertised, providing good consistent resistance and the jumps in resistance between 1-3 are good. 1 being light enough to sprint with, 3 being a slow slog, especially as you try to pickup speed. My favorite thing is just how easy it is to move around and position as you need it. Its literally a few seconds to pivot it on a turnaround. The only improvement I'd make is I wish the handlebars would jiggle slightly less, but that's the price you pay when they're also really easy to add/remove as needed. In reality once you're pushing or pulling the sled with resistance, the jiggling is minor, its more so when you're moving it neutral or pivoting it around that the handles jiggle a bit. Great piece of equipment, overall, glad I invested in it!
So far I’ve used it in all its capacity with my clients. Offers a wide variety of uses, the most notable being the font hook to latch a TRX or rope to. I really like the fact it offer resistance both ways. I also own the XPO trainer, but the tank is superior in almost every way. The only possible things for improvement are a brake to prevent it rolling down my driveway and an apparatus to put your foot on that makes it easier to pivot when changing directions.
This is exactly what I wanted for my home gym. Not having to haul weights around while not sacrificing resistance is huge. Size is perfect for a home gym, turning it around is pretty effortless. Such a diverse piece of equipment, you can do way more than what the YouTube video showed. Would’ve liked a hook on the other side as well but that’s not a dealbreaker. So glad to finally have sled work back in my workouts without having to worry about destroying the floor or making noise.
