I purchased the Anker 7 in October of 2024 (sorry this review is coming so late) to improve over health and prepare for upcoming cancer surgery. I'm a 60yo man already in reasonably good shape from long distance cycling for the past 30 years, but needed to add strength training, and specifically core strength.
My house is rather small and the bedroom where I installed the unit is just over 100 sq-ft., and to add to installation issues, the walls are not horizontally flat. I had to add a couple of 1" x 6" x 6ft oak boards where the unit would attach to the wall and shim them flat, so the wall mounting brackets could be attached and not warp when tightening.
I am very cautious about items purchased on-line and have very high standards, so a high quality review is very rare. Needless to say, the Anker 7 met all my expectations. Quality construction, beautifully engineered and Torque Fitness customer service was excellent. If you have a small space and need a quality piece of home gym equipment, I highly recommend the Anker 7!
J. Bono!
P.S., I had to engineer a lat pulldown bar accessory that can be seen in the attached pics.
