This 7 ft. Olympic hex bar / trap bar is designed to keep weight centered through the body’s midline to control back strain on a deadlift, shoulder stress when bench pressing, and alignment for shrugs.

Features:

  • Fully welded steel construction
  • Durable textured black powder coat finish 
  • Tubing diameters of 1.65 in (42 mm) and 2 in. (50 mm) with .25 in. wall thickness 
  • Two sets of handles spaced 25 in. apart are lightly knurled for a sure grip
  • Dual handle design allows athletes to switch grips by simply flipping the bar over
  • Accommodates Olympic sized plates of as much weight as can be loaded on its 16 in. (406 mm) sleeves 
  • Designed for Torque Spring Lock-Jaw Pro Collars, and compatible with many but not all other collars

Slightly disappointed

Been looking for a good hex bar at a decent price. Stumbled across this one and thought I would give it a try. Got it yesterday and the branding sticker was basically falling off. Though looks isn’t everything it still wasn’t cheap and just don’t think something like that should be an issue right out of the gate. Will see how it holds up. My only other concerns is the textured powder coating on the sleeve areas. Hopefully won’t be an issues for unloading and loading plates.

That is very unusual for the branded sticker to come off, we are going to drop a new one in the mail for you in case you want to reapply it. We have been selling this bar for well over a decade, this is the same bar we sell the major health club chains throughout the world, people generally love it, I do not think you will have issues with loading/unloading plates.
