The TANK M1 is not just any push sled – it's a revolutionary piece of fitness equipment engineered to work on all surfaces, indoors and outdoors. Unlike traditional friction-based sleds that rely on heavy weights, the TANK M1 uses magnetic resistance, giving you a smoother, more quiet, consistent workout. Whether you're pushing, pulling, or sprinting, the TANK M1 adapts to your intensity, delivering a challenging workout every time.
*Console option only available in North America.
Incorporating the TANK into your workout program offers limitless versatility. More than just a traditional resistance sled, the TANK can be pushed, pulled, towed or used as a stationary implement. With many different attachments and accessories, dull, boring workouts are a thing of the past.
Whether you’re new to fitness or a seasoned pro, the TANK is for everybody. With variable resistance levels, you can tailor the TANK to fit your workout needs from warmup to cooldown and anything in between.
When you walk backwards, you reach back with your toe and roll through your foot to your heel. This works the anterior tibialis (shin) muscle, as opposed to the gastrocnemius (calf) muscle, which tends to do all the work when you walk forward. Strengthening the shin muscles provides better balance which is more important as you age.
TANK training reverses the effects that time and traditional exercise methods place on your body. You are in effect, rebuilding your body from your feet up. By loading your toes (with weight) whether you’re pushing the TANK or pulling the TANK, you’re working the toes, feet, ankles, shins and calves. This is the new research that totally turns traditional learning upside down. The lower part of your body is needed more as you age and balance becomes a greater concern.
Whether you are young or old, an athlete or rehabbing an injury, TANK training will benefit you in a number of ways.
TANK training protects against:
The All-New TANK M1 has both a console option as well as a dumbbell cradle option in addition to an improved 3-position tow loop bar.
No, the TANK M1 console and dumbbell cradles are optional attachments.
The TANK M1 console option offers data for up to 4 different users at a time, taking group workouts to a whole new level. It delivers data on calories, watts, time, distance and Push Force Energy™.
Console and Elevated Tow Bar Retro Kits are available for those that have the previous TANK M1-101 model. Make your 1st generation TANK M1 compatible with the optional Console and Dumbbell Cradles attachments!
The dumbbell cradles option adds extra traction for towing movements and allows you to take your dumbbell workouts on the go. This attachment holds one pair of dumbbells to 20 lbs.
The improved 3-position tow loop bar allows for more traction which eases pressure on the front wheel and creates more training possibilities! Use the loop to attach V-Straps, battle and tow ropes, and more.
Unlike friction sleds or ‘prowlers,’ TANK is controlled by magnetic resistance — meaning athletes don’t need to change out the weight for each user. By flipping the resistance lever, you can change the intensity of your workout without adding or removing heavy weight plates. Additionally, TANK is an all-surface weight sled with wheels, meaning it will not tear up your carpet or flooring.
No, you do not. Unlike traditional sleds, all of the resistance comes with the simple flip of the lever, thanks to TANK’s innovative braking system. Weight is only added to help with traction while pushing or pulling the sled if you are on a 'looser' surface.
Yes. TANK is coated with electrostatic paint, so you can use it outdoors, under all weather conditions, without fear of damaging the equipment. In addition, this is an all-surface fitness sled, meaning it was built to be used on a range of outdoor surfaces — from grass fields to turf tracks.
TANK users include everyone from NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB teams to assisted living communities and everything in between. Because TANK trains for deceleration, HIIT, and overall conditioning while still being gentle on joints, nearly every person can benefit from training on Torque’s premier workout sled.
Yes. Our bi-directional movement and adjustable toe-bar lets you push or pull the TANK in either direction.
The TANK M1’s lightweight, three-wheel design makes turning simple. Center your foot on the back axle, lift back and swivel to change directions.

Sled works great for our smaller studio! Members love using it!
Ever since I got the Tank M1 Sled my clients are hating on me 🤣
We love this tool as it quickly warms you up and gets you hardcore into the workout by torquing it into 2nd gear. It’s a game changer in any part of your fitness!
I am 66 years old, using it to build strength in feet, knees and lumbar pelvic, hip complex. It’s awesome.
I like the sleds with no wheels better my preference
TANK® M1 Push Sled
I love the compact nature of the Anker 3. I am able to set it up behind my existing power rack and incorporate it in with all of my attachment points. Had to engineer a more practical linkage for combining both handles but otherwise it is a quick and esy to use addition to my workout routines.
The whole family uses it, from the youngest of 8 to the oldest of 74, 3 generations. It can be as challenging as you want it to be. Built like the tank.
Exactly what I was looking. We have a small gym and so floor space is premium. Saw this wall rack for hex dumbbells on Torque and ordered it. Delivery was fairly quick. The rack is very strong and holds all my hex dumbbells (10, 12, 15, 20 & 25). Am happy so far.

Ordered the Tank M4 as a replacement for running. My knees and back won’t take it anymore. Have worked out with it now for 2 weeks, pushing it outside early in the morning, alternating with lifting weights. Total game changer. Each workout is epic, feeling totally spent by the end of a 35 min workout. All of the accessories make it fun and challenging. Have lovingly nicknamed it my “pain cart”.
Been buying Rogue since 2009. Heard of Torque from those Tanks few years back, so I decided to look them up and found that they are located in my home state. Pulled the trigger on a couple of items including this pullup bar because my current one is too low for my basement. I went from garage gym to basement gym recently…anyway, very happy with this purchase. It’s a very solid piece, definitely up there with Rogue, plus you don’t get raped by shipping. Would love to pay a visit to their warehouse someday.
Easy setup and very solid. Happy with purchase.
I installed the Anker 3 in my home gym. It was straightforward and easy to install. It’s a great addition to my wall-mounted squat rack. I’ve cancelled my gym membership, and I’m thoroughly enjoying the functionality and convenience of the new cable machine. Thanks!
This piece of equipment is amazing! I’m a trainer and work out if my garage gym. It’s practically flush to the wall so would be perfect in a small space. Does everything a large cable cross system would.
Initial hesitation in purchasing the relentless rope was concern for compatibility with my non-Torque rack that didn’t have a crossbar or holes that aligned with the relentless rope spacing. That was not the case. It works as intended with my 3x3 rack with the clamp provided and has not moved at all after a couple hours of use. I have no concern with it being unstable or potentially falling by installing as recommended with the Torque instructions online - just 4 bolts. I did have to move my pull up bar connected to the rack lower so I could place the relentless rope higher to keep the rope from dragging on the ground.
The next concern was whether it would add enough variety/excitement to my workouts. Would a ski erg or cable machine provide a similar or better stimulus? It appears more durable than a ski erg and is much more pleasurable than doing a similar motion on a cable machine for me. It doesn’t have a quantifiable method to track distance or time pulled, but an external timer is suitable for me. I like how I can improve my grip strength, pull with one arm at a time, both simultaneously, and pull with a some hip hinge variations while easily changing the resistance. And important for me, it’s footprint is very little compared to other options.
The use of the relentless rope exceeds expectations. Its resistance system works smoothly similar to their M4 tank. Because of these two items from Torque, I consider them a top tier fitness equipment supplier. I couldn’t ask for more from the quality of their equipment and expect them to last my lifetime and become heirloom items. It’s fun for the whole family. Overall, I’m happy and would recommend as an accessory fitness tool.
Overall I am very happy with this functional trainer. I have a 10*10 bedroom that I converted into a gym so space saving was my main goal. It took me about 3 hours total to install this alone. I think I could do it again in less than 1.5 hours now that I have done it once.
Working out with this machine is fantastic. Cables run very smooth. The 225 pound weight stacks (112.5 to lift per side) are plenty sufficient. The distance the cables come out before the weight stack goes all the way up is really long. You won’t run out of distance. The footprint in my room is minimal. A normal functional trainer wouldn’t have worked out well.
The machine looks great. It came very well packaged. Each weight was individually bagged, etc. There was still a few minor scratches here and there but nothing really noticeable.
Assembly, the instructions are decent but have a few small areas that were confusing about when to tighten hardware and how much. “Tighten but do not over tighten” apparently means loose enough to make adjustments and tight enough to stay in place. One statement says 12 bolts minimum into wood studs and another says 8. I also made the mistake of routing the cables through the rubber grommets for the guide rods and had to go back and fix that.
Areas of improvement: the accessories that come with it have very uncomfortable handgrips. I needed gloves for heavier weights with the included handgrips. I went ahead and ordered another brand.
The round stops that go at the top of the guide rods had internal burrs that I had to remove before sliding them onto the rods during assembly. Otherwise, they would not go on.
The cables should have been at least an inch longer. You cannot thread the pulley at the weight stack to the depth in the instructions and still get even one thread onto the other end. I would feel much more comfortable with another half inch minimum of thread contact on each end of the cables.
There is one pulley that the bearing seems to be loose from the plastic portion. It is functional but the plastic can slide on the bearing off center. The pulley is captive so it isn’t going to come apart but I should replace it.
Any heavier attachments need to be removed or held up with one hand when moving the weight stack pin. The weight stack slides up a little very easily.
I wish the weight labels had the actual weight rather than 1 through 15. I haven’t found pre-printed labels with matching weight online. It’s a pretty unique 7.5 pound interval. I ended up just printing a conversion cheat sheet that I taped up nearby for now.
It did take about 2 months to get this machine from the time I ordered so don’t be in a hurry.
I think my criticisms of this machine are all pretty minor. It’s a sturdy well-built machine and adds tons of options to my home workouts. Totally would purchase again.
The Free-Standing F-9 Fold-Away Functional Trainer is a perfect addition to complete my home gym! It's sharp looking, love the fold away design, can do anything and everything workout wise on this one machine. After I put in my order online at Torque Fitness the machine shipped quick, went up quick, and the gains will be coming quick!
I need all the floor space I can get and my dumbbell tree that was sitting on the floor had to go. This is the only vertical, wall mounted, dumbbell storage I could find on the internet and it's awesome. I used 5 lag bolts and washers into a stud and it fit perfect in a very narrow space in a corner next to a mirror. For reference in the pic, I had 12 inches between the mirror and the wall and the stud was not centered in those 12 inches. The dumbbells I have are the generic white label hex dumbbells. I have pairs of 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 lbs. on there. The 30 pound dumbbells need about 4.25" of clearance on each side (which is the max clearance needed on each side). Fast shipping and well-packaged. Item is built very strong - has no problem holding the 200 pounds hanging on it. No mounting hardware is included, which makes sense because every application of this will be different. Glad Torque makes this item. Highly recommend!
Exactly what I wanted and I love it
