She Wanted One Machine That Could Do More.

Julie Cappoziello had a clear vision for her garage gym: create a space where she could train hard, demonstrate exercises for her clients, and show her followers what’s possible at home without filling the garage with machines.

When she finally had the space to build it, the Free-Standing F9 became a major piece of making that vision happen.

She Wanted Variety. Not a Garage Full of Machines.

For Julie, choosing the F9 came down to versatility. She wanted one piece of equipment that could take the place of multiple machines while still leaving room in her garage.

Now, she uses it to train everything from legs and glutes to upper body and core. It also gives her the flexibility to create workouts and exercise demonstrations for clients at every fitness level.

“It really transformed my garage into a space that feels like a complete gym instead of just a room with dumbbells.” - Julie

The Exercises She Didn’t See Coming.

Julie originally expected the F9 to play a bigger role in her upper-body training. Instead, some of her favorite uses have become core, stability, and single-leg movements.

Pallof presses. Chops. Hanging leg lifts. Cable single-leg RDLs. Rotational exercises.

That added variety has opened up an entirely different side of her programming while helping her demonstrate movements that build strength, balance, and stability.

What Does an F9 Workout Look Like?

Julie likes to combine free weights with cable movements, moving from heavier compound exercises directly into accessory work on the F9.

A current favorite:
Barbell Bent-Over Rows: 4 × 10–12
Single-Arm Cable Lat Pulldown: 3 × 12–15
Cable Delt Flies + Cable Crunches: 3 × 8–10

Cable Bicep Curls: 3 × 15–20

The smooth cable movement and quick transitions make it easy to keep the workout moving without bouncing between multiple pieces of equipment.

Consistency > More Equipment.

Working with Torque has reinforced something Julie already believed: you don't need access to dozens of machines to build strength.

For her clients and followers who train from home, having versatile equipment within reach removes one more barrier to getting a workout in. Especially when life gets busy.

As Julie puts it, consistency matters more than having a massive commercial gym at your disposal.

Why This Partnership Matters To Her.

For Julie, this partnership happened alongside a pretty major chapter in her life.

Buying her first home meant finally getting the garage gym she'd wanted to build. Partnering with Torque gave her the opportunity to fill that space with equipment she genuinely uses in her own training and the workouts she creates for others.

“Being able to partner with a company whose equipment I genuinely use every week makes it feel like a natural fit instead of just another sponsorship.” - Julie

Still Thinking About the F9?

Julie’s advice is pretty simple: think beyond the workouts you're doing today.

“If you're serious about strength training at home and want equipment that will grow WITH you, I think it's one of the best investments you can make.” - Julie

Beginner or experienced lifter, the value is in continuing to find new ways to use it as your training evolves.
