Created in response to feedback from coaches and trainers, Performance Handles facilitate a lower running position, which is ideal for athletes and sport-specific conditioning.
Curving inward and forward, the performance handles draw the hands closer, reducing stress on the shoulders and reflecting a true running stance. Also new is a secondary horizontal grip position and higher attachment point for pulling movements with a Tow Kit or TANK Battle Rope.
Performance handles are sold as a set of 2 pairs and will replace your existing TANK handles. The handles can be swapped in and out as users see fit.

I know what you are thinking. Another $200 spent towards the tank. Is it really worth it? I pondered this for months. The Stock handles on the Tank work fine and the fact is adding new handles makes no difference in how the Tank works. I have developed a number of HIIT workouts using the Tank. The training last an hour. After a while, I started experiencing discomfort in my wrists during these training sessions. I went ahead and bought the performance handles thinking they just might be better. They are because they feel much better. The feel of the handles due to the positioning is truly better then having the straight handles. Plus you get an additional location for you hands and another location to attach a rope. I like these handles much better then the straight ones and i'm glad I bought them. As I said above, the handles change nothing about how the Tank works. I do feel these handles provide a better hand placement which in turn promotes a more confortable hand placement. The folks at Torque likely realized this after they developed version number one. This is why these handles are on all subsequent models of the Tank.
